HISTORY AND MISSION

Fleischman Chess Services began in October 2008, when Founder and National Chess Master Eric Fleischman developed this website as a social medium to connect Brooklyn chess players and promote the game of chess. Eric Fleischman has resided in Brooklyn his entire life and has developed a vision of chess for Brooklyn that has been shaped by Brooklyn's chess organizations, communities and individuals. Fleischman Chess Services seeks to ensure that Brooklyn continues to be the "County of Kings and Home of Chess Champions."

Undoubtedly, it is the dream of every chess enthusiast to become a chess master. However, the road to chess mastery can be difficult and paved with many challenges and obstacles. We believe that by facing challenges there is an opportunity for growth and development. We also believe that by overcoming obstacles there is an opportunity for achievement and reaching one's potential. Our goals are to help students develop and reach their potential. It is, therefore, the mission of Fleischman Chess Services:
